We fit the latest uPVC Dry Verge systems, suitable for weather-proofing almost all types of tiled and slated roof edges. Tiled roofs have a cement infill on the edges of the roof above the bargeboards. This tiled edge cracks and perishes, causing the cement to drop out and the edge to become insecure in high winds.

Remove Old Cement

We remove all existing perished cement from the tiled edge, as this retains moisture and causes tile battens to deteriorate.

Improve Ventilation

This improves ventilation to preserve tile battens. We check tile batten and roofing felt condition and repair as necessary.

Add Support

An additional longitudinal tanalised timber batten is installed for extra strength and support.

Secure Installation

We securely fix the Dry Verge units with our specially developed installation system for ultimate protection.

Removal, cleaning, re-bedding, and repointing of existing clay ridge tiles. Periodic maintenance required.

Secure Method

Roll-out dry ridge system using proprietary fixings and clamping plates to secure existing clay tiles to the ridge beam.

Permanent Method

Removal of clay tiles and replacement with Smartridge uPVC ridge tiles screwed directly into the ridge beam. Eliminates maintenance and improves loft ventilation.
